Goal:Meiosis results in four new cells, each containing half the number of chromosomes in the original cells. In the next project you and your parner illustrate the phases of meiosis with yarn representing chromosomes.

Meiosis Poster for Extracredits

If you need extracredit to make up some missing work sign up for this project and receive 2 extra points for the coming up test.

Goal: Working with you parner, make a poster of the meiotic cell division that depicts the different stages with pictures. Also, label the main cell structures and explain the major events occurring during each phase.

Due Day: Monday, March 8th, 2010.
