Grade Policy

What is the grading policy?
• 35 % Tests, Mid-term, and Final exams.
• 35 % Assignments: projects & lab reports.
• 15 % Homework
• 15 % Attendance, behaviour, & participation
• 5 extra credits over the final grade for participants in American Museum of Natural History after school courses.

Attendance, behaviour, and participation
• Follow all L.H.S. rules (no hats, gum, mp3-players, cell-phones, food,…) 5%
• Come to class every day and be on time 10%
• Respect classmates and teacher 10%
• Listen without interrupting 10%
• Raise your hand 10%
• Participate in class discussion 20%
• Teamwork with other classmates 10%
• Work (sit) with classmates from different cultures and languages 5%
• Work actively and right away in class 20%
